When the glass industry meets the grill, magic happens
Team M&M Glass Company traded our measuring tapes for meat thermometers and swapped glass installations for grill operations at the annual HBA Greater New Orleans Kick A$$ Cookoff. And let’s just say – we brought the same precision and passion to the pit that we bring to every glass project.
The Kick A$$ Cookoff, organized by the HBA of Greater New Orleans, is more than just a competition. It’s a celebration of our home building community coming together to support the Professional Women in Building (PWB) Council.
Our M&M team approached this cookoff the same way we approach every project: with careful planning, quality ingredients, and flawless execution. The result? 1st Place Judges’ Choice Award.
While taking home first place was incredible, the real victory was being part of an event that raised significant funds for the PWB Council. This organization does amazing work supporting women in our industry, providing networking opportunities, professional development, and mentorship programs that strengthen our entire construction community.

What made this weekend special wasn’t just the award – it was watching our team work together in a completely different environment.
