It's time to design your store or office so it's awash in light and welcomes in warmth. In retail spaces, gorgeous glasswork invites pedestrians to stop and linger. In offices, unique glass or mirror installations can open up the space. At M&M Glass, we've been designing, crafting, and installing commercial glasswork for the Louisiana community since 1984. We know that there are few remodeling projects that can truly revitalize a space like glass.

From offices with open lines of sight to elegant glass wine cellars for restaurants, our team can do it all. Keep reading to learn how we can help with your commercial glasswork project, or check out our gallery of previous work for inspiration!

Commercial glass storefronts

Window shopping as a pastime started as early as the 17th century in Europe, but it came into its own in the 19th. Wide avenues and grand shopping arcades full of glazed glass windows tempted passersby to stop and linger. Today, window-shopping continues to evolve as a form of recreation, with many shoppers enjoying a stroll from one retail store to another in large outdoor malls.

Retail stores that offer this experience, with gorgeous glasswork and beautiful interior displays, can capture the interest of passing shoppers. At M&M Glass, we combine decades of experience in commercial glass design and installation to create magnificent glass storefronts that can set your store apart from the rest.

No matter the size or scope of your project, we can help you design a stunning expanse of glass for your storefront.

Commercial mirrors

In many industries, mirrors are an integral part of serving your customers. We craft commercial mirrors in Louisiana for any of the following purposes (and many more!):

At M&M Glass, we specialize in crafting mirrors in a variety of sizes, shapes, and finishes. We also have one of the largest custom frame shops in the state of Louisiana. This allows us full control over the quality and customization of your project. Further, with our region's vibrant history, we often craft mirrors with antique finishes to better match a historical building's character. You can learn more about our antique mirrors here.

Have an idea for your commercial mirrors? There's no project too large or unique. Our team is always here to help you turn your dream into a reality.

Commercial glass for offices

Modern offices are defined by the "open office" concept, a design choice that encourages light and airflow throughout the space.

No matter the size of your business—whether you have a small dedicated team working in a single office or are spread throughout a larger campus—M&M Glass can help you bring lightness to your office.

Since we control every step of the glass design process, you can choose a style that fits your office's needs. We offer glass in varying opacities and finishes to create privacy. At our frame shop, we design custom mirror frames to fit your company's style and culture. We design, craft, and install:

  • Glass tabletops that add a sparkling shimmer to your workspaces or conference rooms
  • Expansive glass entryways that welcome in employees and visitors alike
  • Custom mirrors that add a special decorative element and reflect light across large spaces
  • Large glass walls or doors for your inner offices, conference rooms, and shared spaces
  • Glass shelving for large-scale displays or storage purposes

Again, we know that each company has unique needs for their workspaces. We're here to brainstorm ideas, make suggestions for size and placement, and design glass pieces that work for you.

Get Started with Commercial Glasswork

Our M&M Glass team members travel throughout Baton Rouge, Lafayette, New Orleans, and the Northshore to visit commercial customers. Our goal is to see your office or retail space and learn more about your vision. We want to make your project easy and enjoyable, from start to finish.

You can call us today for more information or for a free estimate. We also invite you to visit our showroom at 13429 S. Choctaw Dr. in Baton Rouge. Our glass experts there can show you options in person and answer any questions.

The estimate process

Commercial glasswork projects are large in scope and ideas. Because of that, our team typically takes three to five business days to provide a quote for commercial work.

We'll factor in all details, including installation. At this step, we can also discuss your options for glass styles and finishes. For example, you may want an ultra-clear pane of glass for your storefront or you may need a satin semi-opaque finish for a private spa or conference room. You can see all of our finishes here.

If you only have a general idea of what you want, we can lead you through the design process. We'll discuss your goals for the project and budget. We'll take into account the size and shape of your space, along with any unique challenges. From there, we'll suggest ideas based on similar projects we've done in the past or new custom designs.

Once you have an estimate in hand, we encourage you to reach out to our team with any questions. We can suggest changes to bring your project within budget or clarify any details.

The design process

We don't leave anything to chance with commercial projects; we measure multiple times to ensure a perfect fit in your space. Whether we're working directly with you or a contractor, we'll remain in contact throughout the process, so you always know where your project is.

Your customers' and employees' safety are also our priority. Depending on the location of your glasswork, we'll suggest different glass thicknesses and types of safety features. We design the majority of our pieces with tempered glass, for example. If these mirrors are damaged, they break into thousands of small pieces to reduce potential injury.

For over thirty years, we've maintained our reputation for providing superior glass pieces across southern Louisiana. We do by that by controlling as much of your work in-house as possible, ensuring consistent quality at every stage of manufacturing. We stand behind every piece of work we create and aim to exceed your expectations with our craftsmanship and service.

The installation process

Depending on the scope of your project, we'll usually take two to three weeks to craft your piece before we begin the installation. Installation time will also depend on the size and complexity of your project. Some projects may only take a single day to install, while others will take a week or more. We'll be upfront from the beginning, so you know what to expect.

We do the job right the first time and installation is no different. Our local team handles installation and clean-up. We also stand by every commercial glasswork project with a one-year warranty period. We also handle repairs for our previously installed projects.
