In Louisiana's gorgeous historical homes, antique mirrors create a rich style that hearkens back to a home's beginnings. Beyond adding elegance to your home, they also bounce light around rooms and make them appear larger than they really are. In historic and contemporary homes alike, mirrors with antique finishes bring warmth and character into any space. At M&M Glass, we design custom antique mirrors in Louisiana for residents in the Baton Rouge, New Orleans, North Shore, and Lafayette communities. Whether you're starting your next remodeling project or designing a new build, this is how we can help.
Add Vintage Charm With Antique Mirrors
If you don't have time to search your local antique shops, our custom-made antique mirrors provide the same vintage look in any shape and size.
Antique mirrors are intentionally softer, adding a sophisticated sense of style to any space. Placed across from a window or light, they also reflect and scatter light across a room. They can be easier to care for with natural variations and textures.
Use our gorgeous antique mirrors to:
- Dress up your home bar with glass countertops or backsplashes
- Create soft warmth in your bedrooms with large mirrors
- Add sparkle as a large backsplash in your kitchen
- Bring light into darker corners of your house, like small bathrooms or hallways
- Invite warmth and elegance into your office with built-in bookshelves with a glass backdrop
- Create a shimmering accent wall with beveled edge glass tiles
- Dress up your vintage-inspired vanity with a corresponding mirror
- Hang within a larger collage wall of photos and mementos
- Replace existing glass insets in your heirloom or antique furniture pieces
- Create an open and airy kitchen with glass cabinet doors that are easy to care for

Made For Your Home
With their refined texture and golden quality, antique mirrors can truly provide the finishing touch to any space. At M&M Glass, we handle every step of design, production, and installation, because it allows us to create unique custom pieces that were made for your home. They're perfect, right from the start.
You'll be able to customize every detail of your antique mirrors project. Choose from:
- Wall-mounted or standing floor mirrors
- Different shapes, including oval, rectangle, and specialty options
- Framed and frameless options
- Beveled or flat edges
- A variety of tints and finishes
Even better, these antique mirrors can be updated with modern touches. Our team can add glass cutouts for outlets, light switches, or light fixtures.
Our custom frame shop
Your antique mirrors will look even brighter when paired with gorgeous frames.
With antique mirrors, we recommend adding warm period-appropriate wooden frames or elegant metallic frames. Rich wooden frames can add depth to your mirrors, whether you opt for a more rustic farmhouse look or a deeper dark wood. Add true sparkle and shine to your home all year round with antique mirrors that are framed with glittering silver, crystal, or gold.
You can see all of these options and more in our custom frame shop. We have one of the largest custom frame shops in Louisiana, which gives us full control over the quality and look of your final piece. You can choose from:
- Stock frames or custom-made frames, depending on your budget and needs
- Different materials, such as wood or metals
- A variety of finishes and colors
- Beveled edges or sleek modern lines
We invite you to see all of your frame and mirror options in person at our showroom at 13429 S. Choctaw Dr. in Baton Rouge. You can also see more of our frame options in the following gallery.

Beyond antique mirrors and frames, the M&M Glass team can handle many other glass projects for your home. We can help with any of the following:

Do note that our team does not handle windows or automobile glass. We also don't do glass repairs for projects done by other companies.
The M&M Glass Difference
Antique mirrors create a sense of space and style, unlike any other design project. Our team is here every step of the way to make sure your mirrors are perfect.
It starts with your free consultation. We'll discuss what you're looking for and provide suggestions for size, placement, and style. M&M Glass sends quotes in 24 hours or less for most residential projects (some commercial or larger projects may take more time). Our quote will fully explain all costs for both design and installation.
Once you've approved the design, our team gets started.
We'll treat your home like our own and carefully take all measurements twice to ensure we get the correct size for your space. Our antique mirrors are typically crafted from ¼ inch tempered glass. We use this type of glass for your family's safety. It's thick enough for secure, long-term use. If your mirror does break, though, this tempered glass breaks into thousands of small pieces that are less dangerous. For insets or furniture tops, the glass thickness may vary.
Next, our local team installs your antique mirrors or glass pieces. We make sure every piece is fastened securely and meticulously placed. While our team is thorough, we work quickly. Most mirror installations take an hour or less. Large or custom mirror installs may take longer.
After we're done, we'll clean the space so you can enjoy your new mirrors immediately. Our team will discuss the best ways to clean and care for your antique mirrors. M&M Glass also provides a one-year warranty period on all of our projects.
